Starbucks sued employee unions for making social media posts in support of Palestinian liberation and BDS movements (Durbin). Starbucks has also been guilty of many aggressive and manipulative union-busting tactics, including mandatory, captive-audience meetings where workers are isolated from their coworkers and subjected to anti-union propaganda in isolated environments (Sainato).
